ITINERARY
Today, you will be picked up and transferred from Cusco airport to your hotel. Upon arrival, we will welcome you with a special introduction to the tour, which will include a warm welcome circle. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable and excited to explore the rich culture and stunning landscapes of Cusco.
The day begins with pickup from your hotel at 8:00 AM, followed by a trip to the district of Chinchero, where we will visit a textile center and the archaeological center of Chinchero, also known as the temple of the tenth Inca, Tupac Inca Yupanqui.
Next, we will start the hike towards the waterfalls. We will take a historic route used by the Incas that is part of the famous “Inca Trail,” where we can enjoy beautiful landscapes.
Upon reaching the PocPoc Waterfalls, you will have time to relax, enjoy a snack, and take photos.
Then, we will continue to Urquillos, where private transportation will be waiting to take you to Urubamba for a delicious buffet lunch. Finally, we will return to your hotel to conclude the day.
After a delicious breakfast, we will head to the archaeological center of Pisac, an iconic site that offers stunning panoramic views of the Sacred Valley.
Next, we will visit the Sounds of the Andes Workshop, where we will learn about the power of sound and Andean music. Here, we will experience the importance of music in Andean culture.
Then, we will enjoy a visit to the Hummingbird Sanctuary, a space that allows us to connect with the serenity and splendor of nature. We will have the opportunity to observe and photograph the diverse hummingbirds that inhabit the area.
After lunch, we will arrive at the majestic archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, which features an impressive set of terraces, ceremonial centers, and fountains whispering stories of ancient civilizations.
Finally, we will take our train to Aguas Calientes.
After a delicious breakfast, we will take a bus to the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu, known as “The Crystal Condor.” After a 25-minute ride, we will present our tickets and passports.
Our guide will take us to the best viewpoints during a tour of approximately 2 hours, highlighting the spiritual significance of the site for the Incas.
At the end, we will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and then take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where a private bus will take us to Cusco and our hotel.
If you wish to hike to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu, remember to book your tickets in advance.
We will start the day by picking up participants from their hotel at 4:00 AM for a journey of approximately 3 hours to Mollepata, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then, we will head to Soraypampa, where we will begin the hike to Humantay Lagoon. Our guide will provide instructions, and if desired, you can rent horses.
During the ascent, we will observe the local flora and fauna. The hike is challenging, with rocky paths, so it is advisable to use trekking poles and take your time. Upon reaching Humantay Lagoon, at 4,200 meters above sea level, we will enjoy the stunning views and take photos. We will also make an offering of coca leaves to Pachamama and the Apus.
After relaxing, we will descend to Soraypampa, where transportation will be waiting to take us back to Mollepata for lunch. Finally, we will return to Cusco, concluding our excursion.
Our private transportation service will safely and comfortably take you from your hotel to the airport at the agreed time.
