ITINERARY
This day we start the tour, at 7:00 a.m. we will pick you up from your hotel. Next, we will board our tourist transport heading south of Cusco to the restaurant that is on this route, where breakfast awaits us.After breakfast, we will continue the journey to the Santa Lucia Community.
We will then make a stop at Pomacanchi Lagoon to see the house of Carmen Noguera (mother of Tupac Amaru).We will proceed in our transport passing through the community of Huayqui and the district of Acos within the province of Acomavo.
Next, we will begin a 3-hour hike to the camping area near Wagrapucara, admiring small lagoons and rock paintings along the way. We will arrive at our camping site near Wagrapukara. Lunch will be served at the camp, allowing you to enjoy the surrounding landscape.
After lunch, we will take a hike to a place in the archaeological site to make the offering to Pachamama (Mother Earth). them we will return to the campsite. To end the day, we will savor our dinner and a hot tea before spending the night.
To start the day, we will have an energizing breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Next, we will have a guided tour of the mystical and religious archaeological site of Waqrapukara.
After visiting Waqrapukara, we will begin our hike back to the community of Huayqui. Then, we will return to the city of Cusco following the same path and making a stop in Cusipata to enjoy our lunch. After lunch, we will continue our journey back to the city of Cusco.
Finally, we will drop you off near your hotel.

First and foremost, double check now that you have your passport and that it is valid and up to date. It is required to have a passport that is valid for 6-months or more to enter Peru. We will need your passport number to make reservations at hotels and at Machu Picchu.
Arrival city is Cusco (CUZ -Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport). Most airlines will have you fly into Lima where you will go through customs and then board your connecting flight to Cusco.
Groups are usually 8 to 10 people. This also depends on the time of year. The maximum is 10 people and the minimum is 2 people.
You must bring your passport, as it is required for entry to Machu Picchu and for hotel check-ins. We also recommend bringing copies of your important documents. Your passport must also be valid for at least 6 months.
You can book the tour through our website or at our office. Cancellation policies vary depending on the tour or itinerary, but generally, you need to cancel at least 30 days before the tour for a full refund. Please check the specific terms when booking.

We want you to feel your absolute best while on the journey. We will be in altitudes varying from 3360mt (11000 ft.) โ 3900mt (13,000 ft.) Here are some suggestions to help you maintain a vibrant state of health and wellbeing:
- Drink a lot of water and stay well hydrated
- Rest as much as possible upon arrival
- Drink coca leaf tea and herbal teas upon arrival; continue to drink it daily.
- DO NOT drink the tap water in Peru. Hotels & restaurants will have purified water to drink. Bottled water is available as well.
